A handsome late 19th or early 20th century all brass marine starboard navigation light that we have re-purposed into a nautical table lamp. The original curved glass emerald-green lens is protected with a pair of brass wire guards and the lantern chimney is designed with Christmas tree style smoke vents and half round top caps. The interior light fixture is reached thru the lantern's hinged covered bottom. The maker of this marine light is unknown, but is most likely a Perkins-Perko fixture. The perfect light fixture for your nautical interior and for the beach and coastal home!
CONDITION: Overall, this lantern survives in good condition with only a few minor age flaws. The upper right corner of the lantern lens has a small crack, but the lens is 100% complete. The hinged bottom slide latch is missing.
The lamp lighting selection toggles between the interior light and the outer light by the upper light switch. You can choose either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both on and off as desired. Measures 21 1/2 inches tall (as shown) to the top of the lamp shade, and the back walls are 5 inches wide.
