WWII Liberty Ship Hatch Cover Coffee Table With International Coins

Thick pine, nautical coffee table produced years ago using an authentic WWII US Navy Liberty Ship hatch cover and displaying silver coins from around the world! Traditional harvest table style pine wood base on pad feet and steel bands on each end of the table top. Aged pine  with rich, honey brown patina. This hatch cover coffee table was made by the previous owner and used coins that he collected during his international travels, inserted and displayed in the top finish. The two half-cup holes with steel bars, a feature found on authentic  hatch covers, was designed so a crane could be attached to lift the wood hatch from it's storage hold. This table is a real beauty and quite a conversation piece!
