The Narwhal is the "unicorn of the sea," a pale-colored porpoise found in Arctic coastal waters and rivers. This unique carving of a Norwhal was created by Maryland artist, Tom Waite. The Norwal is painted in it's natural colors of grey and white. The carving is displayed on a 19th century wood door panel that measures 6 inches X 18 1/4 inches. Signed by the artist on back of panel.
