This lightly used sextant features large size index and horizon mirrors, lighting system, wide angle telescope and custom fitted high impact butternut case with handle. The only flaw that we can find is the interior light system does not appear to work and the small brush inside the case is worn. Otherwise, this sextant is in like-new condition! This sextant comes to us from the family of a local tugboat captain. This is the second U.S. Navy MK III Sextant manufactured by scientific Instruments that we have had and is priced comparatively.
