Matching pair of WWII era artillery shell casings made into 2 inch tall candlesticks. Slightly flared opening. Fits a 1-1/2 inch diameter candle. Candles not included. Price is for the pair.

NOTE: There is a faint marking on the bottom of the shell casing S 2/17  and a naval anchor. We believe these shells are from a 2-pounder gun, officially the QF 2-pounder (QF denoting "quick firing") and universally known as the pom-pom, was a 40 mm (1.6 in) British autocannon, used as an anti-aircraft gun by the Royal Navy.
