"On the Bottom of the Sea" by Kevin Collins.
An original earthenware marine sculpture AND nautical table lamp depicting a ship's anchor lantern lost at sea that an octopus has now declared home. The antique ship's lantern is encrusted with authentic looking earthenware barnacles and oyster shells and a star fish attached on the opposite side. The interior of the clear glass Fresnel lens has painted artwork of fossils that shows while lit.
Exceptional handcrafted porcelain sculpture is also a functional table lamp- ready to adorn your coastal home interior. Measures 30 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lamp shade and approximately 12 inches in diameter. Price includes 18 inch off-white linen lamp shade.
The nautical table lamp lighting choices toggles between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. A dimmer can also be added to adjust the light intensity for soft ambient light. The interior bulb is reached through the open bottom of the lamp fixture.
All of Kevin's work is completely hand-formed from various bodies and no molds are used. Each piece is then meticulously painted; signed and dated. Another exceptional earthenware sculpture by marine artist Kevin Collins.
