We've re-purposed this old seafaring ship's navigational light into a handsome and functional nautical table lamp. Made of galvanized metal, the surface retains the original emerald-green painted surface and bares the Dutch STUURBOORD (starboard) brass ribbon tag on the front shoulder of the fixture. The clear glass Fresnel lens survives with a bottom crack and a few rim chips, but are only cosmetic. The original removable interior green glass filter lens is missing and id now a white light.
The lamp lighting choices toggle between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. You gain access to the lamp interior through the hinged back door that locks in place with a wire slide latch.
The table lamp measures 8" wide and 23 ½ inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown). This wonderful old marine navigational light makes a perfect lamp to adorn your home furnishings and light up your coastal home!
