English Georgian Mahogany Bowfront Sideboard, Circa 1820

Georgian English mahogany bowfront sideboard, circa 1820. Period mahogany sideboard with bowed front and blocked ends. A long center drawer is flanked on left with a deep, divided cellarette drawer (six compartments) and the right with two short drawers. A long, bowed shelf is fitted inside the center well to hold serving trays. The right side has a hidden compartment, located behind the short drawers, with hinged, locking door. Drawers and case has ebony edging. Turned, Sheraton legs ending in spade feet. Mahogany, mahogany veneer and red pine secondary. Retains  the original brass hardware and locks. We have the key to the hidden compartment door but missing the drawer lock key.  Wonderful pleasing, light varnished surface in good order. Measures 63 inches wide X 26 inches deep (center) and 35 1/4 inches tall.
