Antique, authentic ships block from a 19th century sailing ship, made years ago into a nautical table. Oak, double purchase block shell with oak sheaves and metal eye. Block with rope stropped frame, mounted on an oval stained pine wood base. Restored with new electric socket, lamp cord and hardware. The oval base measures 7 1/2 inches X 10 1/2 inches. Stands 25 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown). Comes with a vintage 14 inch slightly tapered burlap-covered lamp shade. Wonderful piece of maritime history!
