An all brass three draw ship's spyglass, second half of the 19th century, unmarked, but probably French made. 1 3/4 inch diameter objective lense. Extending sun shade.  Measures 29 inches open (without the sun shade) and 9 3/4 inches closed. 

CONDITION: The main tube was originally covered in leather or woven horsehair, but was worn out and is now down to the cleaned brass. Peephole slide is missing.  A few  minor dents. exceptionally clear upright image of high magnification without distortion. Perfect for use and display!
